FTE: 1.000000 Shift: 1 Schedule: Monday through Friday between thehours of 8am-5pm Job Summary: Under the direction of the executivedirector of behavioral health, the AODA Counselor is the primaryresource dedicated to providing SBIRT/AODA/Columbia Suicide Scale andcrisis interventions on the inpatient platform. This role autonomouslyprovides support to the behavioral health and social work teams servingas both a direct patient care provider and a consultant to theinterdisciplinary team. The AODA counselor is apt at working withcomplex patient populations and serves as the expert at allocating andconnecting patients to the most appropriate community resources to meetpatients identified goals. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Two years workingwith individuals with substance use and mental health disorders. 3-5years of experience in hospital case management preferred. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: Master\'s Degree in Social Work required. T RAININGDESCRIPTION: Completion of the 4 hour state of WI SBIRT trainingrequired within 30 days of hire. Training in motivational interviewingpreferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Knowledge of Care Managementpractices and ability to apply that knowledge to multiple healthcaresettings. Ability to motivate, inspire, and support CM/SW staff andcolleagues. Ability to effectively develop positive workingrelationships at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communicationskills. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) isrequired. Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) preferred.
