We are looking for a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic educational team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to support elementary and middle school students, helping them develop essential communication skills through targeted speech and language therapy.
Position Overview
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Work with K-12 students
Key Responsibilities
- Assess individual speech-language needs for school age students and make recommendations.
- Prepare individual educational programs and materials.
- Deliver effective speech-language therapy to identified students.
- Consult with parents to integrate home and school goals.
- Assist schools in multidisciplinary, IEP, placement, intervention, and other educational decisions.
- Provide consultation to teachers regarding speech-language interventions.
- Establish and maintain positive, flexible, and cooperative relationships with the school community.
- Make independent decisions within established policies and procedures.
- Prepare accountability records regarding services provided.
- Communicate clearly and appropriately.
- Participate in professional growth activities.
- Comply with district rules and policies.
- Perform job-related tasks as designed by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Speech Language Pathology License
- Preferred experience in school-based settings
- Strong proficiency in technology and virtual platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
