Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly motivated full-time audiologist to join our growing team. This role focuses on vestibular and balance assessments, diagnosis, and therapy . The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in vestibular audiology and be eager to grow within a collaborative and dynamic clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive vestibular and audiological evaluations, including:
Videonystagmography (VNG)
Advanced rotary chair testing
Vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (VEMP)
Video head impulse testing (vHIT)
Computerized dynamic posturography
TRV positional assessments and treatment
Audiological evaluations and hearing aids fittings
Tinnitus evaluations and treatment
Interpret test results and provide clear, patient-centered explanations.
Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans.
Participate in vestibular rehabilitation therapy
Maintain accurate documentation in our electronic medical records system.
Stay current with advancements in vestibular and audiological care through continuing education and professional development.
Educate patients and families about test results and treatment options.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree.
- California state licensure in Audiology (or eligibility).
- Strong interest in vestibular audiology and balance disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
- Previous vestibular or balance testing experience is a plus but not required (we provide training)
