Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) status
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in need of services
  • Provide both direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students communication goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
