School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Elementary Location: Laurens, SC 29360 Assignment Duration: 43 Weeks Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM (5x7.5-Hour Day Shifts) Weekly Hours: 37.5 Position Overview: A school district in the Laurens, SC area is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve elementary-aged students during the 2025-2026 school year . This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment and make a direct impact on student development. The district is open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) , provided they have successfully passed the Praxis . Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary school students. Conduct evaluations, reevaluations, and write treatment plans based on IEP goals. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district standards. Support communication development in both individual and group settings. Qualifications: Valid South Carolina license in Speech Language Pathology (required). South Carolina Educator Certificate (required). Must have passed the Praxis if applying as a Clinical Fellow. Strong communication and organizational skills. School-based experience preferred but not required. Additional Information: COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements: Unknown (subject to district policies). Orientation hours are fully billable. Assignment is based at the elementary level only.
