Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated rehab team. As a COTA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care that helps individuals regain independence in their daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to patients across various age groups and conditions.
Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the Occupational Therapist.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and activities to support continued progress at home.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support overall patient goals and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in [Insert State].
CPR certification (preferred).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Prior experience in [SNF, outpatient, home health, etc.] is a plus but not required.
