Speech-Language Pathologist in Bolingbrook, IL

A licensed Speech Language Pathologist is sought to join a supportive school community in Bolingbrook, IL, serving students from PreK through 5th grade. This full-time position provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the communication development of young learners.

Location:
Bolingbrook, IL (Approximately 2 miles between two K-5 schools)

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language impairments.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with case managers and psychologists to support students' overall development.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
• Deliver therapy sessions focused on individual student goals, ensuring effective communication strategies.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois state Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, although not required.
• ASHA certification is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 30-35 students primarily with speech impairments.
