Speech-Language Pathologist in Bolingbrook, IL

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a supportive educational environment. This contract position spans the full semester, focusing on providing intervention and support to students with diverse communication needs.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Certified in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
• Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in an elementary or secondary school setting
• Familiarity with AAC devices and nonverbal students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:

Bolingbrook, IL (in-person)

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with special education teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of student performances and progress
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student needs and achievements
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
