We are currently seeking *Recreation Therapist* The *Recreation Therapist* position is a *full-time* non-exempt position responsible for providing a current and comprehensive program of activities for MPTF residents in accordance with their interests and abilities. This position uses surveys/questionnaires to determine the types of programs required and assesses the recreational needs of residents using appropriate forms and documentation tools. The Recreation Therapist assists in long-range planning for the Recreation Program and in developing department policies and procedures. *Requires:* Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy and California Therapeutic Recreation license (RTR) preferred Minimum two years of experience as a Recreational Therapist in a geriatric environment required; experience in evaluating resident needs Thorough knowledge of the Recreation Therapy field Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to work in an automated environment Ability to work independently and work well with other professionals *MPTF offers competitive compensation and perks for full-time and part-time (24 hours per week) employees.
