Wrentham Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Speech/Language Pathologist for the Delaney Elementary School (PK - Grade 1) to cover a maternity leave from the start of the school year (8/27/25) through December break. Key Duties & Responsibilities:*Collaborate with teachers and other therapists to support students through individual screenings, targeted general education interventions, and direct speech/language services through special education*Determine the need for a speech/ language evaluation, select and administer a variety of appropriate assessment tools to evaluate the student; interpret evaluation data, write comprehensive reports, develop goals and objectives based on evaluation information, and provide services within the least restrictive setting*Provide targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions with measurable objectives and appropriate student engagement strategies to facilitate student participation, independence, and speech/ language performance (including social pragmatic language) within the school environment*Collect and analyze student data against IEP goals for progress monitoring and reporting; document speech therapy services to ensure accountability of services provided*Consult with general education staff regarding appropriate accommodations and modifications for students with communication, hearing, speech, and language needs, including the use of assistive technology devices, to ensure the carry-over of skills to the classroom.**Participate in the transition process of students from Early Intervention to Preschool, act as the primary liaison for students with related services only (speech/language or hearing impairment), IEPs, or 504s, which includes scheduling and/or chairing Team meetings *Participate with school administrators in effective planning, coordination, and implementation of speech-language services within the total educational system, including observations and screenings as part of the MTSS framework*Adhere to federal and state regulations, and policies that affect speech therapy practice, including compliance with all aspects of the Massachusetts IEP process, and local procedures;*Other related duties as assigned by the building principal and/or Director of Student Services.Massachusetts License in Speech-Language PathologyASHA CCCs (strong CFY considered)Previous experience working as an SLP in a public school is preferredKnowledge of, and experience with, inclusive practices
