A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute in a K-12 educational setting in Ilion, NY. This contract position will extend from September 2025 to June 2026, primarily focusing on serving elementary students with a diverse range of speech and language needs.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities and develop tailored therapy plans.
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy, ensuring that each session meets the individual needs of approximately 28 students.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in IEPs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to support ongoing development.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the establishment of student goals and strategies for success.
- Provide parents and caregivers with resources and guidance to reinforce skills learned in therapy.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, promoting effective collaboration within the school community.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational laws.
