As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be instrumental in student communication development within the Roanoke school district. Your core responsibilities include:
- Student Assessments: Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language impairments.
- Individualized Education Programs (IEP) Management: Developing, implementing, and monitoring specific therapy goals within student IEPs.
- Therapy Delivery: Providing direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Team Collaboration: Partnering with school staff and families to integrate communication strategies effectively.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate, timely records of services and student progress for compliance and accountability.
- Meeting Participation: Contributing professional insights and recommendations during IEP and other student planning meetings.

We are seeking a highly skilled, organized, and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of school-based SLP experience is preferred.
