As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be instrumental in student communication development within the Roanoke school district. Your core responsibilities include:

• Student Assessments: Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language impairments.
• Individualized Education Programs (IEP) Management: Developing, implementing, and monitoring specific therapy goals within student IEPs.
• Therapy Delivery: Providing direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Team Collaboration: Partnering with school staff and families to integrate communication strategies effectively.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate, timely records of services and student progress for compliance and accountability.
• Meeting Participation: Contributing professional insights and recommendations during IEP and other student planning meetings.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Applying current research and effective methodologies in all therapeutic interventions.

We are seeking a highly skilled, organized, and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist.

• Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensure: Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License.
• Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is mandatory.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of school-based SLP experience is preferred.
