Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school district in Roanoke, VA . This full-time, school-based role offers the opportunity to work closely with students to enhance their functional abilities and support their educational success.

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

• Assist students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.

• Collaborate with educators and other staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment.

• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

• Certification: Valid COTA license in the state of Virginia.

• Education: Graduation from an accredited COTA program.

• Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.

• Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
