This outpatient physical therapy opportunity prioritizes one-on-one patient care, provides a diverse population, and has the opportunity for career growth with great benefits. This is a rehab tech position that will focus on partnership with therapist to help aid patients doing exercises and in the use of modalities for treatment. Therefore, this candidate would be dynamic, have a heart for people, have an attention to detail, be energetic, have an exercise background, and have a vision for at least one year commitment to the business. This will start out at part-time and then become full-time starting the week of August 18th.

We are looking for a rehab tech (40 hours/week - 4 days a week, 10 hours a day), who is reliable and looking for entry position to further knowledge for further studies in physical therapy studies or similar degrees. We look forward to interviewing all qualified candidates.

We want to see our staff grow into excellent professionals, so we do in house trainings once a month to grow everyone's skills in the area of patient treatment.

• Help physical therapist provide care to patients
• Ensure clients are being seen in a timely manner with no backlogs
• Provide supervised assistance to patients
• Sanitize rooms after each client
• Some admin and office tasks
• Assist the therapist in administering patient care
• Maintain a smooth flow of patients through the clinic and gym
• With supervision, set up patients on modalities; assist with their exercise programs
• Clean tables and equipment between patients
• Assist with clerical and administrative tasks as needed (scheduling, some cash handling...)
• Perform some laundry duties
• Able to spell and type
• Ability to handle HIPPA sensitive information

Skills & Qualifications Required skills & qualifications:

• H.S. graduate or GED
• Great communication/interpersonal skills

Preferred but not required:

• Working toward a physical therapy or AT degree
• Knowledgeable of medical language
