Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A local school is currently in search of a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the upcoming school year. The main responsibility of the SLP will be to assess and diagnose various speech, language, and communication disorders. They will also develop personalized treatment plans, provide guidance and communication strategies, and educate families and caregivers of individuals with communication disorders. The specific caseload will be determined accordingly. The director is actively reviewing applications and conducting interviews for this position. Key Duties: Conduct assessments and provide treatment for communication disorders.
Develop customized treatment plans to address the unique needs of diverse patients.
Perform screenings to identify voice or speech disorders.
Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, including the underlying causes such as disabilities or traumatic events.
Maintain comprehensive records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
Requirements: Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably in a school environment.
Hold a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred.
Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirement is a must.
