Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A local school is actively seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the upcoming academic year. The main objective of this role is to assess and diagnose a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLP will be responsible for developing personalized treatment plans, providing guidance and communication strategies, and educating families and caregivers of individuals with communication disorders. The specific caseload for this position will be determined accordingly. The director is currently reviewing applications and conducting interviews to fill this role. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and administer treatments for communication disorders.
Create individualized treatment and therapy plans to cater to the diverse needs of patients.
Perform screenings to identify speech or voice disorders.
Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, including underlying causes such as disabilities or traumatic events.
Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
Experience: Prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably in a school setting.
Education: Hold a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred.
Completion of the mandatory Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required.
