Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Windsor, VT

A skilled professional is sought to provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting. This part-time position is based in Windsor, VT, and is designed for the upcoming school year, offering a unique opportunity to impact students' communication development.

Qualifications:

• Valid Vermont license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Experience working with students in a school setting, particularly K-12
• Strong assessment and intervention skills in speech and language disorders
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Previous experience working with diverse populations is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educators and parents
• Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
• Provide training and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
