Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Bedford, Wyoming

A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide services in an elementary school setting. This contract role is for the current school year, offering the opportunity to support pediatric clients in educational environments.

Qualifications:

• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) preferred
• Experience or certification working with pediatric populations (SLP - Pediatrics, SLPA - Healthcare)
• Certification for school-based practice (SLP - School, SLPA - School)
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) accepted
• Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children
• Effective collaboration skills with educators, families, and healthcare providers

Location:

• Elementary school environment in Bedford, Wyoming

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings
• Develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication needs
• Implement therapy sessions to improve speech, language, voice, and fluency skills
• Maintain documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
