Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Mental Health Therapist to join our TEAM. This position is for the adult population in the Bridge program downtown working 2 days in-office and 3 days remote in a short-term solution focused position servicing patients with high acuity.

Crisis experience is highly preferred.

The Mental Health Therapist will conduct intake and assessment, assign diagnoses and develop treatment plan for patients referred for mental health services. Provide treatment that is clinically necessary and evidence-based. Complete authorization requests as needed and maintain up-to-date medical records. Maintain state professional licensure and credentialing with insurance panels. Ability to develop rapport with patients; assess and diagnose patients using DSM criteria; develop a treatment plan; document treatment progress in keeping with Joint Commission standards; efficient use of EMR.

As a Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:
