Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting, serving students from PreK through 6th grade. This contract role involves providing therapy services on an itinerant basis, supporting a caseload of approximately 20 students. The position requires approximately 15 hours per week and is scheduled for the new school year. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and write comprehensive reports. Provide therapy services tailored to students' individual needs. Attend and actively participate in Evaluation Team Reports (ETR) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Deliver itinerant services across various settings within the school. Serve students with mild to severe disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, and developmental delays. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with K-6 students in a school setting preferred. Knowledge of special education regulations and therapy strategies for students with ASD and developmental delays. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Location: Based in Painesville, OH.
