Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Northern California Preparatory School, an education site of Point Quest Group, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with a strong background in pragmatic language to join our collaborative therapeutic team. Serving middle and high school students with Type 1, high-functioning autism and co-occurring mental health needs, the Speech Language Pathologist plays a key role in leading social communication groups that support peer interaction, self-advocacy, and emotional coping strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and lead pragmatic language groups tailored to neurodivergent adolescents
Address functional communication, perspective-taking, conversational skills, and social problem-solving
Collaborate closely with LMFTs and BCBAs to provide integrated support for students with social communication and coping needs
Provide individualized speech services as needed
Contribute to IEP development and progress reporting
Maintain thorough documentation of sessions and student growth
Qualifications:
Master's degree
Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
Experience with pragmatic language therapy for adolescents
DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & Tuberculosis Clearance
Experience leading group therapy for adolescents, especially neurodivergent populations
Background in autism spectrum disorders
School-based or educational setting experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
Frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
