The Role: Occupational Therapist (Part Time – 20 Hours Weekly)
In this unique role: you will be completing assessments and evaluations, interpreting these results to establish a plan of care for each participant, recommending and ordering adaptive equipment, and teaching culinary, interpersonal, home-making, and other job skills.
What You’ll Do
- Mentor students and interns.
- Attend weekly supervision provided by the Allied Health Director as needed.
- Maintain up to date licensure and participation in continuing education and training for best practices. Stay in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing.
- Become Safe Serve manager certified.
- Sub in as the café manager in the manager’s absence if needed.
- Participates in continuing education and training of rehabilitation and clinical staff on best practices.
What You Bring
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure (state-specific)
- At least 2 years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities (vocational/community setting experience is a big plus)
- A strong ability in interpersonal relationship building
- Workplace adaptation and supported employment is highly desirable
- Compassion, creativity, flexibility, and collaboration skills
- Strong communication, collaboration skills as well as empathy, creativity, and commitment to inclusion and empowerment for all

- Pay Rate: $42.44/hr for the initial 90 days, then $43.71/hr after the 90 days period
