This in-person position involves providing specialized support to elementary students, fostering communication skills in a supportive educational environment. Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, focusing primarily on the elementary level. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and document student progress. Utilize evidence-based techniques to improve articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension. Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required. Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations.
