Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 public school located in Watsonville, CA. This in-person position involves providing specialized support to elementary students, fostering communication skills in a supportive educational environment. Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, focusing primarily on the elementary level. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and document student progress. Utilize evidence-based techniques to improve articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension. Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required. Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations. Qualifications: Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP) or equivalent certification. Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary education settings. Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff. Ability to manage caseload and paperwork efficiently. Work Schedule and Location: Full-time, single school site position. 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Contract duration: August 19, 2025, through June 12, 2026. Position requires presence on-site in Watsonville, CA.
