Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist Santa Ana, California

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2024-2025 school year to provide services to K-12 students within a school district located in Monrovia, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload with a range of speech and language needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies
- Participate in school meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- California SLP License or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy services is a plus
- Strong knowledge of K-12 speech-language disorder protocols and interventions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload effectively and maintain professional standards of practice
Location:
- Monrovia, California (serving populations in Monrovia and nearby cities such as Duarte, Bradbury, and Mayflower Village)
Additional Information:
- Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
