Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist Santa Ana, California

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2024-2025 school year to provide services to K-12 students within a school district located in Monrovia, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload with a range of speech and language needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies
• Participate in school meetings and professional development as required

Qualifications:

• California SLP License or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy services is a plus
• Strong knowledge of K-12 speech-language disorder protocols and interventions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload effectively and maintain professional standards of practice

Location:

• Monrovia, California (serving populations in Monrovia and nearby cities such as Duarte, Bradbury, and Mayflower Village)
