Fayette County Public Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to support K12 students in developing the motor, sensory, and self-help skills needed to thrive in the classroom. Position Overview:
As the OT, youll assess students, create individualized intervention plans, and work alongside teachers and staff to implement strategies that support academic participation and daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct OT evaluations and write reports aligned with student needs
Develop and implement therapy plans tied to IEP goals
Provide direct therapy services and classroom-based support
Address sensory integration, fine motor coordination, and adaptive skills
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
Maintain records and contribute to IEP documentation
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Georgia OT License
Georgia PSC (Professional Standards Commission) Certification to practice in schools
Experience in school settings or pediatrics is preferred
Excellent collaboration and documentation skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday, during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignment based on district need)
