Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Taylorsville, NC

This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-12 school setting from preschool through elementary grades. The position runs for the upcoming school year, offering a 37.5-hour workweek within a vibrant educational environment. The caseload ranges from 35-40 students, providing a diverse and rewarding experience helping young learners enhance their communication skills.

Schedule: Full-time, contract position

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to preschool and elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Utilize best practices in speech-language pathology to address communication disorders

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid NC SLP license
• Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, school settings, or completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored for a K-12 environment
