We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced school Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team! As a school speech language pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges that can impact their learning and social interactions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments to determine students' communication strengths and weaknesses
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve students' speech and language skills
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' speech and language needs are met
Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech and language pathology
Requirements:
Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist
Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Prior experience working as a school speech language pathologist preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
