Job Summary

Tulare City School District is now accepting applications for the position of:

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT (SLPA)

The work year for this position is 185 days, 7 hours per day, Monday-Friday.

Salary Range $29.29 - $35.96 per hour plus applicable fringe benefits.

Under the supervision of the Speech Language Therapist (SLP), the SLPA will carry out treatment plans by providing direct therapy, assisting with assessments/screenings, and assisting with clerical duties to support the SLP. This position reports to the Director of Special Education and Psychological Services. This is a roving position.

Requirements / Qualifications

PROOF OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THIS APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

High school Diploma or equivalent

Valid California Driver's License.

Current Speech Language Pathology Assistant Certification. Must maintain SLPA certification throughout employment.

Comments and Other Information

Must have experience in working with children with various disabilities.
