A public school in Lafayette, IN is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide onsite services to students on a full-time basis. This contract role requires delivering high-quality speech therapy that supports students individual needs and helps improve their communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in a public school setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely digital documentation and complete necessary paperwork
- Utilize technology to support virtual communication and data management as needed
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, held for at least 1 year
- Active professional license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with IEPs, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to positively impacting student lives
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new software and troubleshoot basic issues
