A contract position is available for three full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) supporting school-aged children in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. These roles primarily focus on providing speech and language therapy services within an Essential Life Skills program, serving students who require specialized educational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs, including those in life skills programs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support students communication goals
- Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to expand service accessibility
- Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech therapy
Qualifications:
- Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings
- Familiarity with Essential Life Skills or life skills programming preferred
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
