Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in North Hollywood, CA

A healthcare setting in North Hollywood, CA is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapeutic support primarily within pediatric and school environments. This contract role offers the chance to deliver teletherapy and in-person services, working closely with individuals across a variety of communication needs.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain it
• State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure for California
• Experience in healthcare, pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy settings
• Familiarity with Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) collaboration is a plus
• Knowledge of AAC devices and individualized education program (IEP) processes preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient needs
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance communication and swallowing abilities
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, healthcare providers, and families
• Deliver therapy services via teletherapy platforms as well as onsite when required
