What we are looking for: Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a dedicated per diem SLP to pick up home care cases in and around the Yaphank area. Job Type: Per Diem Schedule: Flexible Setting: Homecare Location: Eastern Suffolk, including Yaphank Pay rate: $60-$80/hour (depending on experience) Requirements Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan. Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care. Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications Salary Description $60-$80/hour
