Location: Albuquerque, NM
Position Type: Full Time, Onsite
Schedule: Monday Friday, 37.5 40 hours/week

Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to support K12 students in the Albuquerque, NM area for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on social, emotional, and behavioral support at one school site (elementary, middle, or high school), depending on district needs and candidate preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support for social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students

• Implement Tier 1 interventions and support PBIS initiatives

• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to create positive school environments

• Develop and support behavioral intervention plans

• Work within a flexible caseload that may shift as the district adjusts needs for the new school year

Requirements:

• Licensure from the New Mexico Board of Counseling and Therapy Practice for Mental Health Counseling (must be active; no pending licenses)

• New Mexico PED license (must be in hand before interviews or offers)

• Experience with PBIS and Tier 1 school-wide supports strongly preferred

• Previous school-based counseling experience preferred
