Toledo City Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver therapy and assessment services that help students strengthen communication skills essential for learning and social interaction. Position Overview:
As an SLP, youll conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide interventions that target a range of speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language evaluations and prepare clear reports
Develop and implement therapy plans based on IEP goals
Address articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and social communication
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
Attend IEP meetings and provide data-driven recommendations
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district standards
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Ohio SLP License
Ohio Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs
ASHA CCC strongly preferred
School-based or pediatric experience is a plus
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
