Occupational Therapist Opportunity Join Boone County Schools Full-Time

Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy that supports fine motor, adaptive, and sensory skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and prepare detailed reports

• Develop treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and student needs

• Provide therapy addressing fine motor coordination, self-care, and sensory processing

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure continuity of support

• Attend IEP meetings and contribute recommendations and progress updates

• Maintain documentation that meets district and state compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy License

• Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
