Job Description
A full-time Audiologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, providing audiology services to K-12 students in a supportive school environment located in Penrose, CO. This contract role offers a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule, with some flexibility to include Fridays for specialized hearing screenings and Child Find activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings in a sound booth on scheduled Fridays
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20-30 students, addressing diverse audiological needs
- Participate in Child Find events two days per month (total of 10 days annually) to identify and support students requiring audiological evaluation
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate audiological services into students educational plans
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of screenings, evaluations, and follow-up care
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Audiologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of hearing screening protocols and audiological assessments
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and educational staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and scheduling demands
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time: 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays scheduled for hearing screenings and Child Find days as required
- Approximately 36 to 40 hours per week depending on scheduled activities
- Position located in Penrose, CO, serving K-12 students in a school setting
