Key Responsibilities: Facilitate student participation in classroom activities by supporting fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities. Adapt tasks and environments to meet individual student needs. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing to assess speech and communication skills. Prepare clear, comprehensive assessment reports that provide valuable insights. Develop and maintain IEP objectives and accommodations tailored to student needs. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and peers to review student progress and identify areas requiring additional support. Qualifications: Hold, or be eligible to hold, an Illinois state license in Speech-Language Pathology. Fluent in both English and Spanish (a requirement). Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Flexibility and problem-solving abilities to address diverse student needs.
