Job Description


A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, providing essential services to students in grades K-12. This contract position is based onsite in Renton, WA, offering the chance to work directly within a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to a diverse K-12 student caseload
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and document student progress
  • Utilize teletherapy and in-person modalities as appropriate to meet student needs
  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding special education services

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Washington state ESA certification in hand is required
  • Strong background in pediatrics and school-based speech therapy services
  • Candidates currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with proven skills are encouraged to apply
  • Experience delivering teletherapy services is a plus
  • Currently, candidates who hold SLP assistant (SLPA) or VOCO certifications will not be considered
