Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, providing essential services to students in grades K-12. This contract position is based onsite in Renton, WA, offering the chance to work directly within a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to a diverse K-12 student caseload
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and document student progress
- Utilize teletherapy and in-person modalities as appropriate to meet student needs
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding special education services
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Washington state ESA certification in hand is required
- Strong background in pediatrics and school-based speech therapy services
- Candidates currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with proven skills are encouraged to apply
- Experience delivering teletherapy services is a plus
- Currently, candidates who hold SLP assistant (SLPA) or VOCO certifications will not be considered
