Plymouth-Canton Community Schools is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students develop fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills essential for classroom participation and independent living. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, student-centered team.
Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student needs, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that empowers students to engage fully in school and daily life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare clear, thorough reports
Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Address fine motor development, self-care routines, and sensory processing
Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
Attend IEP meetings and contribute recommendations and updates
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Michigan Occupational Therapy License
Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
