Full-Time School Occupational Therapist Empower Student Independence in Chippewa Valley

Chippewa Valley Schools is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver assessments and therapy that help students build the motor, sensory, and adaptive skills needed for school and daily living. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive, student-focused team.

Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student strengths and challenges, create individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy to promote participation and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare comprehensive reports

• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP objectives

• Address fine motor development, self-care routines, and sensory processing needs

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to encourage student progress

• Attend IEP meetings and share recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records to comply with district and state requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapy License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
