Occupational Therapist Opportunity Join Plymouth-Canton Schools Full-Time

Plymouth-Canton Community Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy and assessments that help students build the fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills they need for success in the classroom and daily activities. Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student strengths and challenges, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that supports independence and participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare detailed reports

• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address fine motor development, self-care skills, and sensory processing needs

• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to promote consistent progress

• Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records to comply with district and state requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapy License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
