Chippewa Valley Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills essential for academic and personal success. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team dedicated to helping every student thrive.

Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student needs, design individualized therapy plans, and deliver interventions that build independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare detailed reports

• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address fine motor coordination, self-care skills, and sensory processing

• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth

• Attend IEP meetings and share progress updates and recommendations

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapy License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
