Occupational Therapist Opening Join Chippewa Valley Schools, Michigan - Full-Time Role

Chippewa Valley Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide evaluations and therapy that help students develop critical fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills for success in school and everyday life. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a dedicated team focused on student growth.

Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that empowers students to participate confidently and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare detailed reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapy License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
