Plymouth-Canton Community Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and evaluations that help students develop effective communication skills essential for learning and everyday life. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated, collaborative team.
Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will evaluate student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy across a variety of speech and language areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare comprehensive reports
Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Address articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and social communication
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to encourage progress
Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates
Maintain accurate records to comply with district and state requirements
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Michigan SLP License
Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs
ASHA CCC strongly preferred
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
