Speech Therapist Opportunity Join Rochester Community Schools Full-Time

Rochester Community Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluations and therapy that help students develop strong communication skills essential for learning and social success. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive, collaborative team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy targeting a variety of speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and prepare clear, detailed reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support consistent progress

• Attend IEP meetings and share recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records to comply with district and state requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Michigan SLP License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
