Speech-Language Pathologist Support Communication Skills in Union City Schools

Union City School District is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students develop the communication skills needed for academic success and confident self-expression. Join a collaborative team committed to empowering learners of all ages.

About This Role:
As an SLP, youll assess student needs, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that supports growth across all areas of communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and document results clearly

• Develop therapy plans that align with each students IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and social communication

• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings to provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records that meet district and state requirements

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based services

• ASHA CCC preferred

• Prior school or pediatric experience is valued

• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
