Speech-Language Pathologist Inspire Communication Growth in Union City Schools

Union City School District is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students develop the speech and language skills needed for success in school and daily life. Be part of a supportive, collaborative team dedicated to student progress.

About This Role:
In this position, you will assess communication abilities, create tailored therapy plans, and provide interventions that empower students to express themselves confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and prepare clear reports

• Develop therapy plans aligned with each students IEP goals and learning needs

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and social communication

• Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to track student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings to share recommendations and progress updates

• Maintain accurate records in line with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based services

• ASHA CCC preferred

• Prior school or pediatric experience is a plus

• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments based on district needs)
