Speech Pathology - Mount Vernon, IL

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year at a middle school in Mount Vernon, IL. This contract role offers 20-30 hours per week from August 13th through May 20th, providing an excellent opportunity to apply specialized skills in a dynamic educational environment.

Key responsibilities include delivering direct speech therapy services to students, conducting assessments and evaluations, preparing progress reports, and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and meetings. Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, including iPads and the "lamp app" for communication, is essential.

Job Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License (IL SLP-CCC)
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Speech-Language Pathology
