ResponsibilitiesNorthridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Supervisor to lead and oversee our Respiratory Therapy team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality respiratory care to our patients, managing staff, and maintaining departmental efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor a team of Respiratory Therapists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy department, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement respiratory care protocols and procedures following best practices and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of respiratory care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all patient care areas.
- Perform respiratory therapy duties as needed, including administering medications, managing ventilators, and providing airway management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical acute care experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- License as a Respiratory Therapist.
- AHA BLS required
- AHA ACLS required
- AHA PALS required
- Fire Card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)
