Responsibilities

In keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center philosophy, the Interventional Cardiology Registered Nurse is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing, patient care and the ability to practice independently. Also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor. Under minimal supervision, identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluates the results of these interventions for a given patient population. In addition to these major responsibilities, the Registered Nurse may be assigned other duties.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently working in the Cath Lab or ICU or within the last 2 years.
  • Critical Care nursing experience required, primarily in cardiovascular nursing.
  • Currently licensed by the State of California as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS with 90 days of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Angiographic experience desired.
  • Cath Lab experience preferred.
